It has been four months since I had my hair dyed. I know I am supposed to go back to the salon and get the roots retouched up but instead I decided to do a DIY one at home.
I bought the Liese Prettia: Bubble Hair Color in the shade of Royal Chocolate. I purchased it at the T&T Supermarket in Marine Gateway for about $17. I've used this product a few times already but this time it was to dye it dark.
Base on the shade transition photo, my hair should look closely like the last photo...
What's inside the box? Solution 1, solution 2 (developer), hair treatment conditioner, 1 pair of gloves, and instruction sheets.
Now onto the steps!
Step 1: First thing first, wear gloves! You don't want to get your hands dirty!
Step 2: Pour Solution #1 to Solution #2 until there isn't anymore product inside.
Step 4: Remove the white lid from the bottle and replace it with the foaming cap.
Step 5: Gently invert the bottle to mix for about 5-7 times. DO NOT SHAKE.
^ Here's me before applying the product.
Step 5: No photo available but dispense foam by gently squeezing the bottle.
Step 6: Start applying it onto your hair. I started on the lightest part of my hair up and ending it on my roots. At this point, you can instantly see the color transition after a few minutes! It was pretty amusing!
Step 7: Gently massage your hair the way you do when shampooing then leave it untouched for about 20-30 minutes.
Step 8: Wash hair in a lukewarm water then apply the hair treatment conditioner. Leave it on for about 5 minutes.
Step 9: Lastly, rinse thoroughly.
This is how my hair looks after a week! At first I didn't like how dark it was after washing my hair but as days pass by it seems to lighten up a little more. I am currently in love with it! My hair looks way healthier.
I am totally recommending this product to anyone who are interested to try the bubble hair color! It's inexpensive and very easy to use!
